1. Hire Fees

By completing your booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and authorise RevFit to process payments as outlined.

The payment method for all fees is via the credit card supplied at checkout.

All hire fees are charged weekly in advance. The first weekly payment is charged on the day following equipment delivery, with subsequent payments charged on the same day each week for the duration of the hire.

After the minimum hire period ends, hire continues automatically at the same weekly rate until the equipment is collected or a new minimum hire period is agreed. All hire fees paid are non-refundable

Fee Summary:

  1. Refundable Bond *A one-off fee charged at checkout, based on the equipment selected.

  2. Weekly Hire FeesCharged weekly in advance, based on the minimum hire period selected at checkout. Weekly hire commences on the day following equipment delivery.

  3. Delivery & Pick-up FeeA one-off delivery fee is charged on the day following equipment delivery. No pick-p fee applies.

Distance-based delivery fees apply as follows:

  • 0–10 km from SkyCity Auckland

    • FREE for 12- & 24-week minimum hire periods

    • $35 for 6-week minimum hire periods

  • 10–15 km from SkyCity Auckland

    • $45 (all hire periods)

  • Over 15 km from SkyCity Auckland

    • $65 (all hire periods)

* Bond is refundable subject to equipment being returned undamaged and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

2. Payments

Payments are processed automatically using the credit card supplied at checkout as laid out under 1. Hire Fees. The hirer must ensure sufficient funds are available.

Failed payments must be rectified within 48 hours of notification. Failure to do so authorizes RevFit to arrange immediate collection of the equipment without further notice. If the minimum hire period selected at checkout has not been completed then early termination rules will apply (see 6. Early Termination) and any outstanding fees remain payable.

3. Ending Your Hire

To end your hire, please contact RevFit by email on contact@revfit.co.nz to arrange collection. There are no fees for pick-up.

The hire period finishes on the day equipment is picked up by RevFit. It is the client’s responsibility to arrange pick-up via email with RevFit. If pick-up is unsuccessful for any reason (e.g. access or availability issues) the hire continues until equipment is collected, and additional hire fees will apply.

4. Early Termination by Hirer

If the Hirer terminates the hire before completing the selected minimum hire period, the hire charges will be recalculated and adjusted to the closest minimum hire period completed, and all fees will be applied accordingly. For example:

  • where a 12-week minimum hire is terminated after 4 weeks, all hire fees and delivery charges will revert to the 6-week minimum hire rates.

Any shortfall resulting from this recalculation, including weekly hire fees, delivery fees, or other applicable charges, remains payable and may be deducted from the bond or charged to the payment method on file.

5. Delivery and Pick-up

RevFit delivers and picks up your equipment. 

Any applicable delivery fees are charged to the same credit card used at checkout (refer 1. Hire Fees). The delivery fee is charged the day following equipment delivery.  There is no fee for pick-up. 

6. Equipment Care, Use & Liability

The Hirer must maintain the equipment in good working condition throughout the hire period.

The equipment is hired for personal, residential use only, unless otherwise agreed in writing by RevFit, and must not be used in any commercial or shared premises, including gyms, fitness studios, schools, clubs, workplaces, or similar facilities.

The equipment is for indoor use only and must not be used outdoors, in garages open to the elements, or in any environment exposed to weather, moisture, dust, or excessive heat.

Normal wear and tear is expected; however, any damage beyond reasonable use will result in repair or replacement costs being charged to the Hirer.

The Hirer accepts full responsibility for the equipment, including any loss, damage, or misuse, while the equipment is in their possession or under their control.

7. Damage Assessment & Charges

RevFit will assess the condition of the equipment upon collection. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear will be documented and assessed by RevFit. Where damage is identified, RevFit will:

  • arrange repair of the equipment and charge the Hirer the full cost of repair; or

  • deem the equipment uneconomical to repair and charge the Hirer the full replacement cost.

Repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the refundable bond. If repair or replacement costs exceed the bond amount, RevFit will recover any outstanding amounts using the payment method on file or through lawful debt recovery processes.

RevFit’s assessment of damage and determination of reasonable repair or replacement costs shall be final and binding, except in cases of manifest error.

8. When We May Decline Delivery or End a Hire

RevFit reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse delivery, decline installation, or terminate a hire agreement if, upon delivery or at any time during the hire period, RevFit reasonably determines that:

  • the delivery location is unsafe or unsuitable.

  • there is a reasonable risk of damage, theft, or loss of the equipment.

  • the Hirer has provided inaccurate or incomplete information; or

  • the Hirer is unable to provide safe, secure, and appropriate conditions for the equipment.

Where delivery is refused prior to installation, any bond paid will be refunded.

Where the hire is terminated after delivery due to the circumstances above, RevFit may arrange immediate collection of the equipment, and all hire fees, delivery fees, and costs incurred remain payable.

9. Health & Medical Disclaimer

RevFit makes no representation or warranty regarding any individual’s suitability, capability, or physical fitness to use the equipment selected.

RevFit does not provide medical advice. The Hirer is solely responsible for determining whether the equipment is appropriate for their health, medical condition, physical ability, or fitness level and is advised to consult a qualified medical professional before using the equipment, particularly if they have any pre-existing medical condition, injury, disability, or health concern.

The equipment is used entirely at the Hirer’s own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, RevFit is not liable for any injury, illness, or harm arising from or in connection with the use or misuse of the equipment.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be resolved in accordance with New Zealand law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights the Hirer may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, except to the extent permitted by law.

11. Changes to Terms

RevFit reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms take effect from the date published on the website and apply to all ongoing hires.
