Terms & Conditions
1. Hire Fees By completing your booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and authorise RevFit to process payments as outlined. All fees are paid via the credit card supplied at checkout. All hire fees are paid weekly in advance. The first payment is processed the day after delivery, and then on the same day each week for the duration of the hire. After the minimum hire period, the hire continues weekly at the same rate until collection or a new agreement. All hire fees are non-refundable.
Fee Summary:
Refundable Bond A one-time bond is charged at checkout; the amount varies by equipment.
Weekly Hire Fees Weekly fees are paid in advance. Charges start the day after delivery, based on the selected minimum hire period.
Delivery & Collection Fee A one-off delivery fee is charged after delivery. There is no fee for collection at the end of your hire. Distance-based delivery fees apply as follows:
0–10 km from SkyCity Auckland
FREE for 12- & 24-week minimum hire periods
$35 for 6-week minimum hire periods
10–15 km from SkyCity Auckland
$45 (all hire periods)
Over 15 km from SkyCity Auckland
$65 (all hire periods)
Bond is refundable subject to equipment being returned undamaged and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
2. Payments Payments are processed automatically with the credit card supplied at checkout, as described under 1. Hire Fees. The hirer must ensure enough funds are available. Failed payments must be rectified within 48 hours of notification. Failure to do so authorises RevFit to arrange immediate collection of the equipment without further notice. If the minimum hire period selected at checkout has not been completed, then early termination rules will apply (see 6. Early Termination), and any outstanding fees remain payable.
3. Ending Your Hire Your hire will end on the collection date and time selected at checkout. RevFit will contact you via email approximately 7 days prior to the scheduled collection to remind you of your selected date and time, and to confirm access arrangements. If you need to change your collection time, you must notify RevFit by email at hello@revfit.co.nz at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled collection.
If collection cannot be completed as scheduled due to access issues, unavailability, or any other reason outside of RevFit’s control, the hire will continue until successful collection, and additional hire charges will apply.
There is no fee for equipment collection.
4. Early Termination by Hirer If the Hirer ends the hire before the minimum hire period is completed, charges will be recalculated based on the nearest completed minimum hire period. All associated fees for that period will apply. For example: If a 12-week minimum hire is ended after only 4 weeks, the fees and delivery charges will be recalculated according to the 6-week minimum hire rates, rather than the original 12-week minimum rates. Any shortfall from this recalculation, including all applicable weekly hire fees, delivery fees, or other relevant charges, must still be paid by the Hirer. RevFit may deduct these amounts from the bond or charge them to the payment method on file.
5. Delivery and Pick-up RevFit is responsible for delivering and collecting your equipment. Any applicable delivery fees are charged to the same credit card used at checkout (refer to 1. Hire Fees). The delivery fee is charged the day following equipment delivery. There is no fee for pick-up.
6. Equipment Care, Use & Liability The Hirer must maintain the equipment in good working condition throughout the hire period. The equipment is for personal, residential use only, unless agreed in writing by RevFit. It must not be used in commercial or shared premises, like gyms, schools, clubs, workplaces, or similar places. Only use equipment indoors. Do not use it outside, in garages open to the weather, or any place exposed to the elements, moisture, dust, or extreme heat. Normal wear and tear is expected. Damage beyond reasonable use results in repair or replacement costs for the Hirer. The Hirer is fully responsible for the equipment while it is in their possession or control. This includes any loss, damage, or misuse.
7. Damage Assessment & Charges RevFit checks equipment on collection. Any damage beyond normal wear will be recorded and assessed. If damage is found, RevFit will:
arrange repair and charge the Hirer the full repair cost; or
deem the equipment uneconomical to repair and charge the Hirer the full replacement cost.
Repair or replacement costs are covered by the refundable bond. If the cost exceeds the bond, RevFit will use the payment method on file or lawful debt collection to collect the remainder. RevFit’s assessment of damage and costs is final and binding, unless there is a clear error.
8. When We May Decline Delivery or End a Hire RevFit reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse delivery, decline installation, or terminate a hire agreement if, upon delivery or at any time during the hire period, RevFit reasonably determines that:
The delivery location is unsafe or unsuitable.
There is a reasonable risk of damage, theft, or loss of the equipment.
The Hirer has provided inaccurate or incomplete information; or
The Hirer is unable to provide safe, secure, and appropriate conditions for the equipment.
If delivery is refused before installation, any bond paid will be refunded. If the hire ends after delivery for these reasons, RevFit may collect the equipment immediately. All fees and costs incurred remain payable.
9. Health & Medical Disclaimer RevFit makes no representation or warranty regarding any individual’s suitability, capability, or physical fitness to use the equipment selected. RevFit does not provide medical advice. The Hirer must decide if the equipment suits their health or fitness. Consult a medical professional before use, especially if you have any medical condition, injury, disability, or concern. Use of equipment is at the Hirer’s own risk. As permitted by New Zealand law, RevFit is not liable for any injury, illness, or harm arising from the use or misuse of the equipment.
10. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be resolved in accordance with New Zealand law. Nothing here limits the Hirer’s rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, except as law allows.
11. Changes to Terms RevFit may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates take effect once published on the website and apply to all ongoing hires.
